THIS WEDNESDAY!!  9 Phases Qigong Wed. evenings Feb. 27th-Mar 13, 6:30- 7:30pm  ( 3 classes ) 9 Phases QiGong is a moving meditation practice. Using conscious breath with regulated slow movements and focused intention creates healing potential in the body. Class will begin with stretching and opening the energy channels. Laughter Wellness is a total mindBody well-being practice based on Laughter Yoga. It promotes healing and having fun through simple movements, laughter and deep breathing exercises, mindfulness and playfulness. Maria Carbonell, Ayurvedic Health Practitioner (AHP) has led laughter exercises to survivors of breast cancer, brain injury and dementia patients, and professionals who need to destress from being behind the computer, since becoming “Certified to Laugh”. BEGINNER CHA-CHA:  The Cha-cha is danced to upbeat and fun Cuban, Latin Pop/Rock music. Cha-chá is energetic and with a steady beat.  This program is high energy and great for the body and the mind! AIKIDO “The Way of Harmony of the Spirit” with Russ Robinson -Tuesdays, Feb 19-Mar 26, 7pm-8:30pm.  Learn self-defense techniques while achieving better physical health and spiritual enlightenment.  This martial art discipline strives for peace and harmony and is the most basic tenet of the art.  Aikido places great emphasis on motion and dynamics of movement by focusing energy to gain control by throwing you opponent away rather than typical punching or kicking.  Free for members, $60 Non-Members (will prorate)

CHAIR YOGA is on Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:15am-10:15am This is a great workout for those who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor.  Please give it a try!  We have seen many people advance to more strenuous and advanced classes by starting here.  Very supportive and fun!  Monthly rate is $60 for Members & $70 Non-members

YOGA FOR WELL BEING:  Kate teaches a mindful, breath-centric class where movement is connected to the breath.  We are never too young to start being aware of our postural patterns and how to move best for our bodies.  This program helps students of all ages explore how to unwind painful patterns, correct physical tightness or weakness, melt the grip of stress and to generally improve function in daily life.  This gentle yoga class has minimal transitions to and from the floor and designed to limit stress on the wrists and/or knees.  As it is a relaxed format, everyone is encouraged to do only as much as is comfortable but modifications and alternatives are offered to help provide a complete yoga work out accessible to everyone.  The goal is to have fun and find ways to move with ease and comfort while giving your body a full stretch and work out.  Please bring your own mat and yoga blocks or props if you have them, some will be available during class.  If wear non skid socks if you do not wish to work in bare feet.

Camp Einstein Discover & Design (5-12 yrs):  M-F, 9am-12pm Get to know your world on an elemental level as a budding scientist in this fascinating class! Students will be mesmerized as we study how germs grow, explore chemical properties and dissection!

Creativity will flow in our design labs where we tackle real-world problems, tinker and construct take home projects. Don’t miss out on this well-rounded science and engineering class!

Please bring a bottle of water and a nut-free snack daily. Instructor will remain with students thru lunch for those attending the later camp as well. 

Camp Einstein-Machine Mastery (5-12 yr):  M-F-1pm-4pm It’s all about the Engineering Design Process in this hands-on mechanical engineering class! Student’s will tinker and build as we study simple mechanics and tackle engineering design issues.

We will test and refine fun projects like crazy catapults, speed racing dragsters and topsy-turvy roller coasters! We never stop
moving in this exciting camp!

Please bring a bottle of water and a nut-free snack daily. 

SPORTBALL-MULTI-SPORTS 3-8 YRS:  M-F, 1pm-4pm Looking for a fun activity for your child during Spring Break?  Sign them up for Sportball!  Kid's always have a great time in these programs designed to encourage the FUNdementals in sports.  Concentration, coordination, sportsmanship and foundational skills in multiple sports will be covered in each class. Students will be separated by age and skill levels. 

Camps are so much fun with Sportball, where children can develop the skills and confidence to get in the game of basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, football, hockey, tennis, and golf!  Our highly trained coaches break down skills into kid-sized bites of fun that promote the fundamentals and encourage teamwork.  Older ages work toward playing real game scrimmages!

 Please have students bring a snack and non-carbonated sports drink or water to class each day. Instructor provided by Sportball

Laughter Wellness is a total mindBody well-being practice based on Laughter Yoga. It promotes healing and having fun through simple movements, laughter and deep breathing exercises, mindfulness and playfulness. Maria Carbonell, Ayurvedic Health Practitioner (AHP) has led laughter exercises to survivors of breast cancer, brain injury and dementia patients, and professionals who need to destress from being behind the computer, since becoming “Certified to Laugh”. YOGA FOR WELL BEING: Kate teaches a mindful, breath-centric class where movement is connected to the breath. We are never too young to start being aware of our postural patterns and how to move best for our bodies. This program helps students of all ages explore how to unwind painful patterns, correct physical tightness or weakness, melt the grip of stress and to generally improve function in daily life. This gentle yoga class has minimal transitions to and from the floor and designed to limit stress on the wrists and/or knees. As it is a relaxed format, everyone is encouraged to do only as much as is comfortable but modifications and alternatives are offered to help provide a complete yoga work out accessible to everyone. The goal is to have fun and find ways to move with ease and comfort while giving your body a full stretch and work out. Creativity will flow in our design labs where we tackle real-world problems, tinker and construct take home projects. Don’t miss out on this well-rounded science and engineering class!

Camp Einstein-Machine Mastery (5-12 yr): M-F-1pm-4pm It’s all about the Engineering Design Process in this hands-on mechanical engineering class! Student’s will tinker and build as we study simple mechanics and tackle engineering design issues.

We will test and refine fun projects like crazy catapults, speed racing dragsters and topsy-turvy roller coasters! We never stop

moving in this exciting camp!

SPORTBALL-MULTI-SPORTS 3-8 YRS: M-F, 1pm-4pm Looking for a fun activity for your child during Spring Break? Sign them up for Sportball! Kid's always have a great time in these programs designed to encourage the FUNdementals in sports. Concentration, coordination, sportsmanship and foundational skills in multiple sports will be covered in each class. Students will be separated by age and skill levels.

Camps are so much fun with Sportball, where children can develop the skills and confidence to get in the game of basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, football, hockey, tennis, and golf! Our highly trained coaches break down skills into kid-sized bites of fun that promote the fundamentals and encourage teamwork. Older ages work toward playing real game scrimmages!
