Treat Individual Trees Using Fungicide Injection
Treat trees with the Fungicide Injection
Injection with the fungicide Alamo is a preventative treatment for individual oak trees. The treatment does not prevent root infection or transmission, but it will prevent symptom development in the crown.

Injections may have to be repeated every one to four years as long as oak wilt is still nearby. Some oaks do not respond well to Alamo treatment, particularly if they are already showing oak wilt symptoms when treated.

Learn more about fungicide treatments from the Texas Oak Wilt Information Partnership.  You will also find a list of Texas Oak Wilt Certified Arborists who can advise you on fungicide treatments.
