Dwight Haley has been a resident of Lakeway for the past eight years. He was a longtime resident of north and east Texas before he and his wife, Betty, moved here. Living near grandchildren was the goal that brought the Haleys here. The bonus was discovering the beautiful community of Lakeway.
Dwight has found the dedication of the staff and volunteer leadership of Lakeway to be exceptional. His four years on the Lakeway Zoning and Planning Commission (ZAPCO), including the last two years as chairman, have given him knowledge of the history of the development of the Lakeway culture.
He feels that the focus of this discipline needs to continue to be the guide for our growth and development. Dwight believes that our city should have a heartbeat and personality as it addresses its residents with honesty and integrity.
