The City of Lakeway will kick off a day-long July 4th Celebration on Tuesday, July 4th! 8:30 AM - A festive parade on Lakeway Drive will wind its way from the Live Oak Golf Course to the Lakeway Activity Center at Cross Creek Road. A flyover will be performed by the "Devil Dog", a North American B-25 Mitchell airplane. This year's theme: "Patriotism On Parade". 10:30 AM - Immediately following the parade, please join us at the Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek Road, for the Pageantry of Flags program featuring a keynote address by our Grand Marshal and patriotic music by The Wildflowers. Courtyard music will be provided by Echo's Edge. Donuts, orange juice and coffee will be provided in Room F. No dogs, please. 12:00 Noon - 8:00 PM - The Swim Center, 3103 Lakeway Blvd., will be open for fun today with special pricing - $3/person, all day, with in-and-out privileges. Concessions stand on the premises.
City of Lakeway offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4, to observe Independence Day - 4th of July. They will reopen for business at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 5. Lakeway Police Department’s lobby will remain open throughout the holiday. Residential trash pick-up will be unaffected.
