Lakeway MUD (LMUD), a local water services provider, is hosting two public meetings pertaining to the Out of District Wastewater (OODWW) Project to bring a public sewer system to the Old Lakeway area. Come prepared with questions which will be held for the end of the presentation. There are two times with the same presentation being presented. Some health conditions, medications and travel locations may temporarily or permanently prevent people from donating blood. Eligible donors are in good health, at least 17 years old and weigh at least 115 lbs. for whole blood donations or 110 pounds for platelet donations. Summer is just around the corner! Are you looking for activities and day camps in the Lakeway area? This event will familiarize children and their parents with the classes and camps that are being offered at the Lakeway Activity Center over the summer. A special exhibit from Tiny Tails To You will be set up in the ballroom. Around the perimeter of the room, tables full of instructors will offer hands-on introductions to their classes. Participating exhibitors include Camp Einstein, Tae Kwon Do, Young Rembrandts, SportBall, Mad Science, Round Rock Fencing Club, Cook-Learn-Grow and Learning 101. Try them out and take the opportunity to sign up for classes! Also available. . . a complimentary hot dog lunch in the courtyard, face painting and snow cones from IceCream2U! Everyone is welcomed. There is no entrance fee for this event so come by for some summer fun! No dogs please. Not for publication.

City of Lakeway offices will be closed Monday, May 27, to observe Memorial Day. They will reopen for business at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 28. Lakeway Police Department’s lobby will remain open throughout the holiday. Residential trash pick-up will follow the normal schedule.
