The Lakeway Activity Center hosts a city-wide indoor garage sale four times a year. This unique community event is fun for collectors, families and bargain hunters. You will find everything from children's clothing, furniture and toys; to housewares, collectibles, tools and much more!

More than 20 artists will participate in the annual Cool Arts Party on Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Lakeway Activity Center. The City of Lakeway Arts Committee hosts this event that features fine visual arts including paintings, jewelry, stained glass, and pottery. All of the art is locally made in Lakeway.
The Studio Tours will take place at three art studios in the area on Saturday and Sunday, March 9th-10th, from Noon to 6:00 PM and are open to the public. The addresses of the participating studios/artists are:

Put on your dancing shoes and bring your own beverages and snacks to the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek on the second Monday of every month. Tables/seating available. Enjoy big band music from the 17-piece Republic of Texas Big Band, featuring David Cummings and Lisa Clark on vocals. This event is free and open to all ages. Donations to the band are encouraged. Vending machine on the premises. Sponsored by the Lakeway Arts Committee.

Some health conditions, medications and travel locations may temporarily or permanently prevent people from donating blood. Eligible donors are in good health, at least 17 years old and weigh at least 115 lbs. for whole blood donations or 110 pounds for platelet donations. Tony Morris is a professional guitarist and media artist working in radio, television and film. He is the executive director and host of Classical Guitar Alive!, the only nationally broadcast, weekly radio show to over 200 NPR stations world-wide about classical guitar and is currently in its 22nd year of national syndication. As a professional musician, he will present a variety of classical guitar selections.
