The Lakeway Police Department would like to invite you to The 2nd Annual Lakeway Public Safety Day & Bike Rodeo on Saturday September 10th from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, at the Lake Travis Elementary School located at 15303 Kollmeyer Dr., Austin, TX 78734. This event will educate the public in all aspects of Public Safety, and show the cohesiveness and team work of agencies across Central Texas. These agencies all work hand in hand with the Lakeway Police Department.
Be sure to check out the Police cars, Fire trucks, boats, helicopters, a presentation by the National Guard, and Smokey the Bear. In addition there will be; VIN etching, child ID fingerprinting, live music, and a kids fun zone.
Don't forget to bring your bicycle and helmet for the bicycle safety obstacle course, inspection and helmet fitting.
