Brush Recycling Offered 1st Thursday of Every Month

Brush Recycling (Bagged)

As many are in the middle of Spring cleaning, and tidying up area yards, a reminder that the City of Lakeway offers free yard waste drop off for Lakeway residents the first Thursday of every month. Residents can drop off brush and yard waste at the Public Works Department (3303 Serene Hills Drive) between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. this Thursday (April 7, 2022) and future first Thursdays each month. Residents and property owners may dispose of one pickup truck load of yard waste or up to one 8'X5' pile at no charge. Contractors cannot deliver for residents. 

Materials Accepted:

  • Brush and Tree Trimmings
  • Shrubs 
  • Palm Fronds
  • Leaves
  • Oak Trimmings (only accepted July 1 - January 31); please never prune oaks between February - June

Materials Not Accepted:

  • Lumber
  • Pallets
  • Scrap Metal
  • Construction Materials
  • Ant other type of solid waste
