Local Roadway Projects

Lone Star Paving will continue an asphalt overlay project on several local roadways the remainder of the week. Lanes will be reduced on these roads during the project, so expect some minor delays during the repair work:

November 29:

  • Knarr Street
  • Robin Dale Drive
  • Robin Dale Cove
  • Indian Bend Drive

November 30: 

  • Bermuda Street
  • Dart Street

December 1-3

  • Schooner
  • Tall Star Drive
  • Flamingo Cove
  • Dolphin Drive
  • Highlander Street
  • Cutlass Street
  • Dragon Street

Previous Project Work

NOVEMBER 22 - 24

Lone Star Paving will be working on an asphalt overlay project on several local roadways on Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24. The project will take place the beginning of the week (with a pause during the Thanksgiving holiday), and then pick back up the following week. Lanes will be reduced on these roadways during the project, so expect some minor delays during the overlay project:

  • Debba Drive (begin first)
  • Cavalier Canyon Drive (begin first)
  • Sparrow Lane (begin first)
  • Knarr Street
  • Schooner Drive
  • Tallstar Drive
  • Dolphin Drive
  • Indian Bend Drive
  • Robin Dale Court
  • Robin Dale Drive
  • Cutlass
  • Bermuda Street
  • Dragon
  • Highlander Street
  • Flamingo Cove
  • Dart

NOVEMBER 15 - 19

Lone Star Paving will be doing asphalt repair work on the following streets throughout the week, weather permitting. Repair work will likely take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers should use caution and expect some delays on these roadways:

  • Serene Hills Drive
  • Lakeway Boulevard
  • Rough Hollow Drive
  • Dragon
  • Lohmans Crossing Road
  • Lakeway Drive
  • Explorer
  • Robin Dale
  • Robin Dale Court
  • Cutty Trail
  • Peterson Lane
  • Strader Circle
  • Peninsula Way
  • Sailmaster Street

Roads will not be completely shut down during these projects, but expect significant delays throughout the week on Serene Hills Drive during the repair process. The other local roadways will have some minor delays. Lanes will be reduced  and flaggers will be present on high-traffic areas. Keep an eye here on our website for the latest updates.

Additionally, the parking area at the Lakeway Swim Center will be undergoing seal coat and re-striping work on Saturday, Nov. 20 and Sunday, Nov. 21. Expect the parking area to be closed during that time. The Lakeway Activity Center will be undergoing the same parking lot work on Wednesday, Nov. 24, with completion on Saturday, Nov. 27. Expect the parking area to be closed partially during this time. There is additional parking at City Hall and the Justice Complex for those who are accessing the Lakeway Activity Center during that time.
