It's heating up, and with school now out for 2021, it's an opportunity to do more around the house. Here are some tips to help:
Oak pruning may commence July 1. One of our favorite sayings is “Never Prune February Through June.” Remember, when pruning oaks, immediately treat all cuts with pruning seal.
Summer is often a great time to shed our homes of all those goodies collected during spring cleaning. Garage or Estate Sales are allowed in Lakeway as long as the items for sale are wholly contained inside of your home or garage. NO signage is allowed related to Garage or Estate Sales. Please rely on social media, local media and word-of-mouth for your advertising.
Warm nights tend to bring out more wildlife (raccoons, opossums and foxes), so now it is even more important than ever to keep you waste containers secure. A heavy item on top of the container is a way to avoid having critters spread household waste across your property. Keep in mind, waste containers are allowed to be placed curbside the evening before your scheduled pick-up day and needs to be returned to its screened location the evening of the scheduled pick-up day.
PARKING FOR WATERCRAFT VEHICLES
With the lake filling up and warming up, boaters are enjoying time with family and friends on the water. A friendly reminder that watercraft are allowed parked in the driveway of your residence for no more than two (2) days out of any seven (7) day period for the purpose of loading and unloading.
