Hurst Creek Road Project Underway

Orange sign that says "Road Work Ahead"

Crews will be working on laying drainage pipe and re-construction of Hurst Creek Road between Brooks Hollow Road to Lochan Ora Road from now (February 24, 2020) through the first few weeks of May. This is near the entrance to City Park. Construction will take place between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. For those who use this section of the road frequently, expect some minor delays during the length of the project. There will be crews with flags to help direct vehicles. The first part of the project will be to lay drainage pipe along the road adjacent to Ranger Field. Parking for Ranger Field will be at the upper parking area of City Park. The contractors will then move to install pipe in the Right Of Way (ROW) along the East side of Hurst Creek Road from about 803 Hurst Creek Road to Ranger Field. The road work portion of the project is expected to start sometime in mid-March. If you have any questions, email us at
