Hunt for fun at Eggstravaganza!

WEB - 5-6 egg dash

Let your little ones dash for a splash of colorful Easter eggs and all the fun at the 2018 Eggstravaganza! hosted by Lakeway Parks and Recreation Department.
The free event will be from 2-4 p.m. March 24 at Lakeway City Park, 502 Hurst Creek Road.
Age-specific egg hunts, a petting zoo, a cookie decorating craft station, mural coloring, spin art, a visit from the Easter Bunny and glitter tattoo artists will be among the activities. Snowcones will be available for purchase.
Age specific egg hunts will begin at 2:45 p.m. with the 7- to 8-year-olds going first, followed by the 5- to 6-year-old group. Watch the 3- to 4-year-olds bolt off the starting line for their hunt around 3 p.m., and cheer on the 1- to 2-year-olds after that.
“The speed at which the kids collect the Easter eggs never fails to amaze me. One blink of the eye and they are all gone,” Lakeway Parks and Recreation Director Andra Bennett said. “In addition to the egg hunts, families may enjoy their time by the lakeside taking in all the entertainment Eggstravaganza! has to offer.”
Children from the area are invited to participate in all the festivities. Please do not bring dogs to this event.
