National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event designed to strengthen our community by encouraging citizen engagement with their neighbors and with the police. NNO heightens crime-prevention awareness, builds support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, sends a message that our neighborhoods are organized and taking a stand against crime. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors and enjoy an evening among friends. NNO has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight to keep our city safe.
