July 4th Celebration

Time:  Events held throughout the day at various locations in Lakeway

Independence Day is the City’s biggest celebration of the year.  Come and enjoy Lakeway’s famous old-fashioned July 4th Celebration.  We have activities for the whole family.  The City of Lakeway will kick off a day-long July 4th Celebration on July 4th and the traditional schedule of activities is as follows:

8:30 a.m. - A festive parade on Lakeway Drive will wind its way from the Live Oak Golf Course to the Lakeway Activity Center at Cross Creek Road.  This year's theme:  TBD.

10:30 a.m. - Immediately following the parade, please join us at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek, for the Pageantry of the Flags ceremony featuring patriotic music and a keynote address from our Grand Marshal.  Donuts, orange juice and coffee will provided in Room F.  Parade winners will be announced at the ceremony and published on the City of Lakeway website.  Winners may pick up their ribbons at the Lakeway Activity Center anytime after July 5, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Noon-8 p.m. - The Lakeway Swim Center will be open for fun at noon today with special pricing of $3 per person, all day with in-and-out privileges.  It is located at 3103 Lakeway Blvd at The Hills Drive.
