Reservations

City Park Pavilion.JPGFor small family gatherings, City Park is on a first come, first served basis with a limit of three picnic tables. Reservations may be made at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek, or by calling (512) 314-7530. The reservation application can be found here. 

Picnic areas are not available for reservations during federal holidays.  These areas are on a first come, first served basis on those days. City Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. during Standard Time.


Upper Level Pavilion / Lower Level Picnic Area

City Park Lower Level Picnic Area.JPGLarge groups may reserve the upper level Pavilion and/or the lower level picnic area located by the flag pole. Reservations may be made at the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek, or by calling (512) 314-7530.  A men's and women's restroom building is located on the upper level.  Also, located nearby is a large charcoal grill and the upper level playscape.  The lower level is near the volleyball court and is closer to the water in the wet years.  Another public restroom building is located near the Middle Trail between the picnic area and the Bark Park.  A large charcoal grill is available in the picnic area under the trees and there is a lower level playscape not too far away.

These areas are not available for reservations during federal holidays and are on a first come, first served basis on those days.

Rates

The Lakeway resident rate is $12.50/hour with a four hour minimum plus $12.50/hour for any additional hours. The non-resident rate is $25/hour with a four hour minimum plus $25/hour for any additional hours.  Bee Cave and The Hills residents are not considered Lakeway residents.

Cancellations

Picnic area and/or Pavilion reservation fees are not refundable if the reservation is cancelled later than the fourteenth calendar day before the date reserved.  All cancellations are subject to a $25 administrative fee.

Alcohol

If alcoholic beverages are to be served inside the park, an Alcohol Permit must be obtained from the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek.  Additionally, an Alcoholic Beverage Release and Indemnification Agreement must be signed by the persons/group requesting the permit.  There is no charge for this permit.

Large Groups

Groups of 10 or more must obtain a permit from the Lakeway Activity Center, 105 Cross Creek, prior to holding an event in the park.  Groups of more than 150 are asked to limit their use of the park to weekdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  A credit card number will held with a $500 cleanup/damage deposit for large groups
(200+  people).
