How can I request an address assignment for my property?

For properties located within Lakeway's city limits:

To request an address assignment for a property, please send an email with the subject as Address Assignment Request and provide the following information:

  •     TCAD (Travis Central Appraisal District) Property ID (six or seven digit identifier) *required
  •     TCAD Georeference ID (ten digit identifier) *optional
  •     A legal description of the property
  •     Coordinates and/or a brief description of the location of the property

For properties that require a suite/unit number:

Along with the items above, please include a letter of verification acknowledging the suite/unit number address change from your Property Manager in your email.

How can I update my address in TCAD?

First, you will need to verify your situs address with the City of Lakeway. To verify your address, please send an email with the subject, "Address Review Request" and provide the following information:

  • TCAD Property ID (six or seven digit identifier) *required
  • TCAD Georeference ID (ten digit identifier)
  • The existing address
  • The proposed address

You may provide documents to support your proposed address change. Once we have received your email, it will be reviewed and verified by the City of Lakeway and then sent to the City of Austin Address Management Services and TCAD.
