Warrants

Failure To Appear / Failure To Pay

If you fail to appear in court or if you fail to pay or satisfy a judgment ordering the payment of a fine and cost in the manner ordered by the court, you may be denied renewal of your driver's license. In addition, a warrant will be issued for your arrest increasing court costs in your case.

Also, if you fail to appear, an additional charge of failure to appear may be filed and warrants issued for your arrest. If you fail to pay, a capias pro fine warrant will be issued for your arrest.

If a warrant has been issued for your arrest, you may pay the amount of the warrant in full in cash, money order, or cashiers check. If you would like to plead "Not Guilty" to the offense you must post a cash bond in the amount assessed by the Judge. Any questions regarding your warrant must be directed to the Municipal Court.
