Service League of Greater Lakeway - “Neighbor Helping Neighbor”
The Service League of Greater Lakeway was organized in the fall of 1988. It was created for the purpose of providing a supportive network of short term services to adults living in the greater Lakeway area.
Transportation - Provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other needed services.
Household Repairs - Simple handyman repairs are available for those unable to make them. Such repairs could be changing light bulbs or air conditioning filters or providing assistance that does not require a professional.
Home Health Aids - Available are wheelchairs, canes, walkers, commode extenders, crutches, and bath stools.
Eligibility - Services are provided for residents of greater Lakeway. Fees – There is no charge for these services. Donations are accepted and are tax deductible.
To request services or volunteer, call 512-261-3514 and an office volunteer will answer calls from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. After hours calls are taken by an answering machine and are returned as soon as possible.
