    Take a walk!Read a book!Children can enjoy a Valentine's Day story while taking a short stroll around the trail behind Lakeway City Hall.Pages ofpopular children's book, Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney, will be posted along the walkway so that young readers can experience the importance of reading, spending time with friends and connecting with nature in a fun way. Visitors are encouraged to share the joy of reading with a friend and to record their responses at the end of the route.The StoryWalk® Project was created in 2007 by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.This experience is free!

  4. Past Due Solid Waste Accounts are Closed

    February 12, 8:00 AM @ City Hall

    Solid waste accounts that have not been paid are closed pending payment of balance, $75 deposit and a $30 restart fee.

  5. City offices closed for Presidents Day

    February 15, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    City of Lakeway offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 15, to observe Presidents Day. They will reopen for business at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16. Lakeway Police Department’s lobby will remain open throughout the holiday. Residential trash pick-up will be unaffected.
